It's November 2nd 2014, the day of the book release party of "Two Worlds, Two Loves, Two Stories" in Groningen, The Netherlands.
Authors Deon Cooper and Marianne van der Veen proudly present the poems that they wrote to each other when there was still an ocean between them. They've been apart for 1 year and 8 months: Deon lived in California, Marianne in the Netherlands. Marianne says that being apart but wanting to be together so bad was a very intense, beautiful and also nerve-wrecking and painful period where they got to know each other very well since the only thing they could do was talk talk talk. At the time of the book release party they finally were able to live together in the Netherlands so this moment kind of sealed the 'being apart era'. With all of their Dutch friends and family at the party and 8,645 viewers online through Deon's radio station Radio For The World you can say it was a huge success!
